Two percussion half stock rifles. 1st item: Percussion half stock rifle with walnut stock, brass mounts including brass lockplate, double triggers, barrel partially marked but illegible. 42 1/4" barrel length. 19th century. 45 cal. 2nd item: Percussion half stock with tiger maple stock, brass mounts, barrel unmarked. 37" barrel length. 19th century. 50 cal. Provenance: A.R. Dickey Estate, Knoxville, TN. Condition: 1st item: older black/brown patina on the barrel and stock, barrel with some wear and crevices where cleaning rod bands attach. Cleaning rod bands likely replacement as well as cleaning rod. 2nd item: black/brown patina to barrel, stock refinished with patches, losses, and glued breaks around tang and lockplate. Nose cap appears to be a replacement, cleaning rod bands missing and remaining one no longer intact, break to buttplate.
