1st item: Antique Ersari Turkmen Chuval rug, central zig-zag geometric design. Woven in colors of red, salmon, blue, and cream. 6 ft. 11 in. x 3 ft. 10 in. Circa 1875. 2nd item: Antique Ersari Turkmen Chuval rug, decorated horizontal striped design. Woven in colors of red, salmon, blue, and cream. 5 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 4 in. Circa 1880. 

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: 1st item: Scattered wear throughout, some heavy patching, and heavy wear to the border. 2nd item: Uneven pile wear, heavier wear to center, losses to fringe.
