Sheraton chest or sideboard with tiger maple and tiger maple veneered front having two short drawers over one long drawer, all overhanging two cupboard doors flanked by plain column form stiles with bulbous and ring turned capitals, all on short turned Sheraton style feet. Beaded round brass pulls and brass escutcheons. Plain sides and paneled back. Top appears to be cherry, secondary woods include pine and poplar. Probably New England, circa 1820. 50-1/2" H x 44-1/4" W x 21-5/8" D. Condition: Old triangular patch to top drawer, shrinkage crack and stains to top, overall wear.
