Lot 713: Turkish Serapi Persian Carpet; 6' x 4'

Semi-Antique Turkish Serapi Persian carpet, wool on cotton. Overall ivory field, stylized medallion to the center field flanked by foliate and medallion designs, three primary borders including one wide border with scrolling foliate and medallion designs. Woven in colors of red, salmon, blue, green, and cream. 6' 1" x 3' 8". Mid 20th century.

PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection.

CONDITION: Overall good condition, with minor uneven pile, primarily to the center field.
