Glen Mitchell (Indiana, 1894-1972) American Scene watercolor painting depicting a busy barnyard scene with horses, chickens, farmers, and a dog, all before a large red barn and windswept sky. Signed lower right. With Spanierman Gallery, NY label affixed to backing. Housed under plexiglass in an ebonized wood frame with ivory fabric mat and nameplate. Sight: 19 1/2" W x 14 1/4" H. Frame: 28 3/4" W x 23 1/2" H.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee Collection.
CONDITION: Excellent condition, with vivid colors. Not examined out of frame.
