Antique Yomut or Yomud Turkmen Ensi rug, wool on wool. Central dark rust field with four windows with geometric designs, within three primary borders, all on a brick red ground. Woven in brick red, blue, and cream colors. 5 ft. 1in. x 4 ft. 6 in. Circa 1880.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, some areas of light pile wear.
