Two (2) antique Persian Kermanshah rugs, both wool on wool, including one with an overall foliate field on a cream ground in colors of red, blue, green, pink, gold, and cream, and one with a central elongated medallion design on a cream ground with three primary borders. 3 ft 10 in x 2 ft and 5 ft 3 in x 3 ft. Both circa 1890.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: The first rug has wear to the margins, losses to both fringed ends, and even pile wear. The second rug has losses to one margin, light staining, and fringe loss.
