Group of eight ladies vintage evening bags, early to mid-20th century, mostly beaded. Four marked "Bags by Joseph", "Delill", "Charlet" and "Whiting and Davis." One marked but illegible. The two earliest beaded ones have images of a woman in a garden, and a large fruit basket. One other with a bakelite top and clasp. Sizes range from 7" x 7" to 10" x 11". Group also includes an Italian goldtone and glass beaded multicolored necklace, 60" L. (9 items total) Condition: Some minor bead loss on some bags. Two smallest, oldest bags' silk interiors are damaged. Strap loose on one bag. Clasp and some beads discolored on orange and clear bead bag.
