Early Gorham Chantilly pattern tea service, 5 pieces including coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar, creamer and waste bowl, all with repousse scroll and rose decoration. Marked on undersides with old lion-anchor-g mark and STERLING 3380 with year marks for 1896-1899 (Chantilly, one of the most popular patterns in America, was introduced in 1895). All pieces monogrammed H on one side. All pieces except coffee pot have additional mark EX to underside. Coffee pot 10" H. 88.04 oz troy combined weight. Provenance: Brentwood, Tennessee estate. CONDITION: Very good condition with a few light scratches and tiny dents commensurate with age.
