Pair of British landscape oil on canvas paintings, one titled "Near Dolgelly, N. Wales" depicting a figure putting items in a small boat by the shore of a lake, with the larger lake and mountains visible beyond the trees; the other titled "Near Devizes" (England) depicting a small pond with swans next to a dirt road leading to a small farmstead with a figure by a gate. Both works signed indistinctly lower right with placards fixed to lower frame with title and artist attribution "M. Holder." Both housed in gilt Rococo style frames. Sight: 23 1/2" H x 15 1/4" W. Framed: 29 3/4" H x 21 3/8" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
CONDITION: Both paintings overall very good condition. Frames with light scattered wear.
