English "Act of Parliament" clock, possibly from the Brighton & South Coast Railway, oak case with applied carved foliate scrolls to the upper case. Clock face is marked "B (S) John Walker, 1 South Molton St. London 1225 S.E.". Case is stamped above door "1225 SE". Dial – 23 1/2" diameter. Case – 90" H x 26 1/2" W x 10" D. Last quarter of the 19th Century. CONDITION: Clock retains pendulum and weights. Not tested for functionality. Overall general wear.
