Corner cupboard, possibly Pennsylvania, 2 piece construction of white pine and poplar wood; flat top with stepped cornice having losenge bead section over scalloped semicircular edge moldings, single glazed door flanked by split baluster turnings, opening to three interior shaped shelves. Lower section features two blocked front dovetailed drawers over two paneled doors, also flanked by baluster turnings, ending in block and split ball feet. 87 1/4" H x 48" W x 25" D. Circa 1835. Provenance: estate of James R. (and Mary B.) Packard, Huntsville, Alabama. Condition: Refinished, contemporary brass knobs, minor abrasions to case.
