Seth Thomas mahogany "Pillar and Scroll" mantel clock with eglomise panel. 30 day movement, painted clock face with gilt and floral basket decoration, brass fittings, finials and pendulum, with one iron weight. Reverse-painted glass panel depicting large columned white house and pagoda style structure, enclosed in an oak leaf border. Retains the original interior label. 29 3/4" H x 17 1/2" W x 4 1/4" D. Circa 1835. CONDITION: Losses to painted decoration on eglomise panel. Retains only one iron weight. Works not tested or guaranteed.
