Three Hawaiian bowls.1st item: Ron Kent ( American/Hawaii, b. 1931) and Myra Kent small translucent Norfolk Island Pine turned wood bowl. Signed Ron/Myra Kent to underside. 4" H x 5 1/4" Dia. 2nd item: Large Koa wood bowl with metal plaque affixed to exterior reading "NBC TV Affiliates/ Board of Directors/ Kawaihae, Hawaii 1984". 5 1/4" H x 11 1/2" Dia. Note: This bowl was a gift to the consigner from Grant Tinker, a former American NBC television executive. 3rd item: Tom Kahalelaukoa Todd (Hawaiian, 20th Century) polychrome painted Ipu Pawehe "bottle" gourd titled "Hawaiian Tropical Fish" with incised geometric fish and flower decoration to exterior and separate lid. Signed "Kahaleleaukoa" to underside. With original artist tag affixed to stem. 7" H x 6" Dia. All items late 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Very light surface wear. 2nd item: Natural wood shrinkage, sun damage to one side, surface wear to exterior, scratching to underside, and staining to interior bowl. 3rd item. Glue repair to stem.
