Sign reads "Washington Trust & Savings" with vignette of President Washington to the center. Inscribed lower right "Post. Knoxville". 30 1/8" H x 24 3/8" W. 1st half 20th century. Weight 30 lbs. Provenance: Brad Swanson Collection, Abingdon, VA. Note: There was a Washington & Trust Savings Bank located in Bristol, Virginia in the early to mid 20th century, CONDITION: Some peeling of paint or perforation to perimeter of sign on three sides. Some oxidation to metal.
