Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Vase, now mounted as a lamp, decorated with Phoenix and Crane in a landscape setting with peony and other flowers, with calligraphy poem to reverse. Vase height: 14 1/2 in H. (15 1/2 in. with wooden base, not shown). Overall: 24 1/ 2 in. Diameter 8 1/2 in. Accompanied by a certificate of antiquity dated 1984 from Paul Tsui Enterprises, Hong King, stating the vase dates from the Qing Dynasty and is over 100 years old.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection, acquired Hong Kong, 1984.
CONDITION: Some wear to gilt handles, otherwise very good condition. Base is not drilled. Lamp is functional at time of cataloging, but plug is older and rewiring is recommended on all used lamps.
