Albert Julius Martin Larsen (Denmark/Sweden, 1885-1957) oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a moonlit, receding path lined by tall, groomed trees having sparse lower limbs with a small pond in the foreground which reflects the grey-blue sky and crescent moon of the background. Signed and dated lower left corner "Alb. Larsen. 1924.". Housed in a modern giltwood frame. M. Simonsen Frameworks Business sticker, en verso of frame. Sight: 16 7/8" H x 20 3/8" W. CONDITION: Slight surface grime, scattered tack holes along edges, and two small holes at the tree line in canvas with corresponding old patch repairs en verso of canvas. Frame with scattered surface scratches and discoloration, some minor scattered losses to gilt.
