Marc Chagall (French/Russian, 1887-1985) black and white lithograph from the series Le Cirque, 1967. Signed en verso by the printer Charles Sorlier and inscribed "Le Cirque No. 520. / Epreuve HC" (a hors-commerce impression outside the edition of 250). Ref: Mourlot 520; Cramer Books 68. Floated in a modern silvered frame with foliate corners, white textile mat, and silver reveal. Sheet: 16 5/8" H x 12 7/8" W. Frame: 28" H x 24" W.
PROVENANCE: Vanderbilt Hillel, from the Benjamin D. and Ruby G. Schulman Foundation.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Mounted to backing with archival tape.
