Swiss cylinder music box, walnut case with inlaid shell medallion to lid, line inlay to front of body, an ebonized interior, and brass escutcheon. Interior lid with glass panel and two leather pulls opening to an eight-tune cylinder marked "10" and crank marked "16". 5 3/8" H x 20 5/8" W x 8 1/2" D. Late 19th century with later lid.

CONDITION: Fully functional at time of inspection. Case in overall good condition with scattered surface scratches and wear particularly to interior and back. Lid likely a later replacement with evidence of repair to both hinges and lacking latch mechanism.
