East Tennessee, Blount County, blind door built-in corner cupboard, walnut primary, yellow pine secondary. Stepped cornice over two long cupboard doors with inset panels, medial molding, two lower raised panel doors with base molding. Interior top fitted with three shelves having upper two shelves with scratch beading and interior painted red. Base fitted with one interior shelf. 81 1/2" H x 39" W x 24" D. Circa 1825. Condition: Original cornice with a later late 19th/early 20th century molding added on the top edge. Hinges appear to be old but not original and moved from their original location. A couple of old tin metal patches in base to cover rodent chew. Different peg pattern in upper and lower doors.
