All original works signed with monogram “W”. 1st item: “Study for Obsession,” Pencil drawing, profile of a nude man with an iguana on his head and holding a flower. Titled upper right corner. Sheet 12″ x 7″. Mat 20″ x 16″. 2nd item: “Pan,” watercolor depicting a satyr with outstretched arms, titled lower center. Cardstock 7 1/2″ x 6″. Taped to Mat, 20″ x 16″. 3rd item: Watercolor on cardstock of figure on horseback. Unmatted. 14′ x 11″. 4th item: Watercolor of Gnome seated on the ground beside a toadstool with a praying mantis atop. Cardstock: 10 3/4″ x 10 1/4″. Mat 20″ x 16″. 5th item: Pencil or charcoal drawing of a nude woman, seated with bowed head and elbows on knees. Sheet – 19″ x 12 1/2″. 6th item: Watercolor of lone, dead tree in a barren landscape. Sheet 17 3/4″ x 13″. Mat – 24″ x 18″. 7th and 8th items: 2 Posters from Werner Wildner Exhibit at Cheekwood, Nashville, 1975, 20″ x 16″.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with minor toning; most cardstock items have been taped to their mats. Some light grime to “Obsession” mat. Gnome painting has come unsecured from its mat, and mat has handling grime. Nude drawing has some light smudging. Watercolor of tree has some thin lines of yellow residue across center and has a 1/2″ tear to lower left edge and has come loose from its mat. Posters – light signs of handling.
