Lot of two brass antiques. 1st item: Brass clockwork spit jack or meat roaster marked "25 lbs WARRANTED", good condition with few minor dents, lacking key, 9 1/2" L x 4 1/4" D, Probably English, early 19th century. 2nd item: Pair of Federal brass and iron baluster turned fireplace andirons with ball feet, constructed in sections. Some loose fittings, one with old welded repair, one missing rear finial, overall wear and some oxidation. 20" H x 11" W x 24" D, Probably American, late 18th or early 19th century. Deaccessioned by Historic Belle Meade Plantation; proceeds to benefit the restoration of the collection.
