Painted two-handled pottery jar, possibly a presentation form, having wavy rim and applied pattern decoration to gilt painted body. Has hand painted scenic vignette depicting the Rocky Mountains within a red border reading Colorado, 1890, green painted border at the base. Base marked in pencil "Ab2, $12.50". 8 3/4" H x approx. 9" W. Late 19th century. Provenance: Loudon County, TN collection.
