Two (2) bronze figural sculptures of World War I soldiers including one (1) titled "A La Marne, 1918" depicting an American soldier or "doughboy" attired in uniform and holding his rifle in count two position, and one (1) depicting a French soldier attired in uniform holding a rifle at his feet and standing against a pile of debris. Both signed "E. Bisson" on right side of base. American- 9 1/4" H x 4 1/2" W x 2 3/4" D. French- 8 3/4" H x 4" W x 3" D. 20th Century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with expected patination. American soldier with green oxidation to base.
