Fifty eight (58) Barclay Manoil painted lead WWI soldiers and one (1) tent, including various military figures with weapons, artillery weapons, radios, bicycles, stretchers and hospital workers, parachuters, pigeon carriers, and small vehicles. All items, excluding the tent, are cast metal. Most Items marked BARCLAY or MANOIL and MADE USA as well as being numbered; some unmarked. ALL range in size from 4 ½” H X 2.5” W to 2 ½”H X 2 ½”W; with the tent being 5 ½”H X 9”W.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Marty and David Black, Rockford, TN.
CONDITION:
Expected wear to paint with most figures in good condition. Figures averaging higher wear include the machine gunner lying on the ground, a parachuting pilot, mortar operator, and searchlight operator.
