Monumental Edwardian fairground chocolate advertising sign reading "The Men You Know, The Chocolate Kings, Jim Embling" ( Vendor for chocolates and assorted candies). Sign is comprised of five painted and carved sections with two sections connecting together and three pieces that attach separately. Applied painted and carved crown in the center and on the two sides of the sign. Lights installed at the top of the arch. From Penzance Park, Penzance, England. Late 19th century. Dimensions: Top arched section: 11' W x 3' H. Pillars: 8 1/2' H x 9' W. Sign Insert: 8' W x by 11' H. Provenance: Gatlinburg, TN collection. Condition: Expected wear to paint and wooden surfaces, age separations to the large arched portion of the sign.
