1st item: Armi San Marco (ASM), Brescia, Italy reproduction Colt Walker Model 1847 black powder percussion revolver, .44 caliber, serial number 71841, all visible serial numbers matching. Barrel marked "Address Saml Colt New York City," underside of barrel marked "ASM – Black Powder Only Made in Italy," "U.S. 1847" stamped above wedge, Italian proof marks to underside of frame near serial numbers and to cylinder. Walnut stocks, octagonal barrel, steel furniture and mountings, brass trigger guard and front strap, checkered hammer, loading lever, brass blade front sight, stagecoach scene engraving on cylinder. Barrel length: 9". Overall length: 15 1/2". 2nd item: Italian reproduction Colt Model 1871-72 Open Top single action black powder revolver, .44 caliber, serial number 35723, all visible serial numbers matching, slightly truncated on back strap. Barrel marked "Address Saml Colt New York City", left side of frame under cylinder marked "Colts Patent", "back strap with "Samuel Colt" engraved signature. Walnut stocks, round to octagonal transitional barrel, steel furniture and mountings, checkered hammer, right side loading lever, steel blade front sight. Barrel length: 7 1/2". Overall length: 13 1/2".
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Majority of blue remaining on barrels, cylinders, and on Open Top revolver loading lever, partial blue remaining on frames and Walker revolver loading lever, some surface scratches. Actions hold at full and half cock. Bores are dirty with visible rifling.
