Santo Domingo Olla pottery jar with polychrome decoration of birds and flowering branches to the body and a red painted base. 10 7/8" H. Early 20th century. Provenance: the estate of Christine Rehnke, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: Scattered fleabites and chipping to the rim. Paint exfoliation to the body, mostly to the vase. One area of white residue to body. Interior with florist foam residue.
