Early boneshaker bicycle, by A. Dubois, St. Denis, France, with brass label. White painted cast iron body and wheels with pink and green painted turned wooden handles, pink painted original metal seat. Overall good condition with nut securinghandle bars missing. Contemporary re-paint. 64″ L x 51-1/2″ H. Front wheel 35″ dia. Rear wheel 31-3/4″ dia. Circa 1870. Provenance: East Tennessee collection.
