Grouping of three (3) cold painted bronzes in the style of Franz Bergmann including a pair of bookends, one depicting a bearded Arabian male figure reclining on a cushion against a brightly draped window and the other depicting a hooded female figure reclining on a cushion against a brightly draped window holding a fan. Together with a figure depicting a bearded Arabian male seated upon a cushion while holding a long pipe all on a round naturalistic base. All pieces marked "Made in Austria", underside of base. Bookends measure 5 1/2" H x 3 1/2" W. Male figural measures: 4 1/2" H x 6 3/8" D x 5" W. All pieces early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Bookends in overall good condition, some bending to upright sections of both and to the finials. The other figural with significant losses to the paint. Mounts in the back suggest that the base is missing another figure or object.
