Two hundred and forty-seven (247) pieces of Gorham Buttercup pattern sterling silver flatware, including 12 Old French knives (9 5/8" L), 8 New French knives (8 3/4" L), 12 modern knives (9 5/8" L), 4 modern place knives (9 1/8" L), 22 dinner forks with long tines (7 1/2" L), 5 dinner forks (7 1/2" L), 11 forks (7" L), 23 salad forks (6 3/8" L), 31 teaspoons (5 7/8" L), 9 tablespoons, 8 place spoons, 16 five o'clock spoons, 14 iced teaspoons, 5 dessert spoons, 19 cream soup spoons, 13 bullion soup spoons, 3 gumbo soup spoons, 4 fish forks, 8 oyster forks, 1 medium cold meat serving fork, 3 flat handle butter spreaders, and 16 butter spreaders. All pieces stamped with maker's mark and Sterling. 3 dinner forks with long tines also marked "T. Hausmann & Sons; 4 place spoons also marked "CD Peacock"; 11 teaspoons also marked with pattern name. Some pieces monogrammed. Housed in a fitted wooden box with hinged handles to each side, two bud form pull handles to single lower drawer, brown velvet interior, and blank brass placard affixed to lid (not pictured). Case: 7 5/8" H x 18 3/4" W x 12 5/8" D. 246.520 total weighable troy ounces.

CONDITION: All pieces in overall very good condition with scattered use wear and some pieces with minute scattered surface pitting. Some pieces monogrammed.
