Attributed to Walter Richard Sickert (United Kingdom/Germany, 1860-1942) with additional artists' notations. Pastel and gouache on paper board, handwritten lower margin, "Amalfi", depicting the wrought iron gates of a villa, two large trees to either side foreground and structures visible in the background. Multiple signatures and dates lower right including "WRS/'29", "JW Sickert '49 finish", and another possible illegible signature. Unframed: 17" x 23 1/2". 1st half 20th century. CONDITION: Board slightly warped. Image in overall good condition.
