31 pcs assorted flatware and jewelry. 1st-3nd items: Pair of German WWII silver table or serving spoons engraved on the handle "FB" for Fuhrer Bau and marked Hutschenreuter 90 on the reverse. Length 8 1/2". Refer to notarized letter from Jim Osborne, Vincennes, Indiana (Indiana Military Museum Inc.), stating he purchased these spoons from Sgt. Robert Weaver of Indianapolis who, as part of the 45th Infantry Division, obtained them as souvenirs from the Fuhrerbau (Nazi headquarters) in Munich at the end of WWII. 3rd-5th items items: Cased sterling or coin silver individual fork, knife, and spoon set, both pieces with engraved floral pattern, marks for Farrington and Hunnewell (Boston, 1835-1885), monogram "J" on front of handle and "Sophia Rhodes Jones" to back; fraying and wear to interior, wear to case, hinges broken. 6th-8th items: Peruvian .900 silver letter opener, a figural shot cup comprised of a figure with cup standing atop a silver Columbia 1922 coin and a Taxco .980 silver child's spoon. 9th-25th items: Group of assorted American sterling teaspoons, demitasse spoons and forks, various makers, some pieces monogramed or inscribed. 26th item: Continental .800 silver sugar shovel. 27th item: Coin silver child's spoon marked "PE" together with an axe symbol to the back of the handle. 28th item: European or British sterling silver fork, maker's mark illegible. 29th & 30th items: Mexican sterling silver abstract brooch or necklace charm together with a Mexican sterling bracelet. 31st item: German Wellner silverplate teaspoon. 16.150 total troy ounces sterling silver. 2.760 total troy ounces coin silver. Provenance: the collection of Ross Webb, Brentwood, TN. CONDITION: All items with use wear. Some with monogrammed and some with inscriptions. Case set box in poor condition with broken hinges.
