British New Land Pattern Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol, .67 caliber. Lockplate stamped with "V.R." surmounted by a crown, two proof marks stamped to top of barrel near breech, trigger guard engraved "Q.O.R/Y.C/16". Round barrel, walnut stocks, steel mounted with brass furniture, swivel ramrod. Barrel length: 8 3/4". Overall length: 15". First quarter 19th century.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with very light dings to metal, scattered dents, tarnish to brass. Stocks with storage dings, two diamond shaped gouges to left side of lock plate, possible intentional. Action appears responsive. Bore is slightly dirty with visible rifling.
