Pair of George III Hepplewhite style mahogany knife boxes, urn form with inlaid vertical satinwood banding, each with urn finial atop a cover lifting to reveal a fitted interior, each resting on a turned circular base. 26 in. H x approx. 10 1/2 in. W. English, late 19th to early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Eleanor Jacobs, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Some vertical areas of wood shrinkage and minute wear to lid edges, otherwise overall good condition.
