Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver, .45 caliber, serial number 123983, all visible serial serial numbers matching. Top of barrel marked "Colt's PT F.A. MFG. Co. Hartford.CT. U. S. A.", left side of frame marked "PAT. Sept. 19. 1871. July 2. 72. Jan. 19. 75.". Colt checkered hard rubber stocks with Colt logos and the Great Seal of the United States, round barrel, iron mounted with nickel finish, checkered hammer, blade front sight. Barrel length: 4 3/4". Overall length: 10". Serial number corresponds to year 1887.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, nickel finish with areas of loss, blistering to the barrel. Left and right side of hammer with traces of residue. Stocks with light storage dings. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Action holds at full and half cock.
