Continental, possibly French, pastel half-length portrait drawing of a young aristocratic man wearing a powdered wig and blue uniform, 18th or 19th century. With illegible old label affixed to verso, possibly reading "Francois Louis…"…"Baron de…" Housed under glass in a painted and giltwood frame. Sight: 12 7/8" H x 10" W. Frame: 15" H x 12 1/4" W.
PROVENANCE: Private South Carolina Collection.
CONDITION: Some minor creasing and waviness to paper. Otherwise good condition. Frame with minor wear.
