Group of 8 unframed Japanese Woodblock prints including some Hanga (modern) prints. Includes: Shiro Kasamatsu, "Hakone Ashinoko No Fuji" (15-1/4" x 10-1/4"); Sanzo Wada, "Oharame" (12" x 16"); Tomikichiro Tokuriki, "Biwa Lake" (11" x 16"); Kotozuka Eiichi, "On Boys' Day" and "Heian-jingu" (Great Torii Gate of the Heian Shrine) (17-1/2" x 12"); Kawase Hasui, "Evening at Tagaonoura" (15-1/2" x 10-1/2"); an image of a Bijin with children in household setting (artist not identified, 12-1/3" x 10-1/4") and a small (6-1/2" x 8-5/8") Ando Hiroshige village scene. Retained in the original sleeve from Uchida's, Tokyo. Condition: Most are hinge mounted with two small spots of adhesive to support boards and matted. Biwa Lake has a 1/4" tear in the right margin, two tiny stains in mountain area and some foxing and scratching. Heian-Jingu has small 1/8" loss in right lower margin corner. Margins trimmed on Bijin print. Kasamatsu and Hasui prints are in excellent condition with good color.
