Assembled set of six 19th century American Coin Silver Mint Julep Cups including five (5) with incuse mark KINSEY to undersides, each of round tapered form with reeded and molded lip and foot, combined weight 25.43 oz troy, and one (1) cup of similar appearance with "S. Kirk & Son / 11 oz" script mark to underside (used by the Samuel Kirk company of Baltimore to denote 91.7 fineness, late 19th century), 5.53 oz troy. All measuring 3.5z"H. 30.42 oz troy total weight. Note: The Four Kinsey cups are monogramed underneath: "WR / EAH" and one is monogrammed "WR". The S. Kirk & Son cup is monogrammed "STN"(?).
PROVENANCE: The estate of Hunter Kay, Franklin, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with varying monograms. Small scattered dents and surface scratches.
