Four (4) Old Sheffield plate covered armorial octagonal footed entree serving dishes, each dish comprised of three pieces: lid with removable handle, removable inner dish, and enclosed warming compartment with pierced liner. All with gadrooned borders, reeded acanthus handles, and four acanthus, sunburst and paw feet. Each engraved with double sunburst marks on bases, attributed to Matthew Boulton & Company, Sheffield, England. 7 1/4" H x 12 1/4" dia. Early 19th century. CONDITION: All with light scratching and general use wear. One lid with one small area of discoloration.
