Two English School, late 19th century watercolor paintings, one depicting an English country manor house with Gothic arched doorway and multiple chimneys, set beside a lake (9" x 12" sight, 12-1/2" x 15-1/2" framed), the other depicting a stone bridge (10-1/2" x 14-1/2" sight, 14" x 18" framed). Both unsigned and framed in identical ebonized and giltwood molded frames with carved corner rosettes. Provenance: consignor purchased from the collection of Billy and Jennifer Frist, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Light toning/fading, minor frame abrasions.
