Eleven (11) pieces Virginia coin silver flatware. 1st through 9th items: Nine (9) coin silver teaspoons, all stamped H & P in rectangles for Daniel Hartman and William Phillips, working Winchester, VA circa 1802-1816. All with fiddle tipt ends and rounded fins, monogrammed R on reverse, 6"L. Together with 2 dinner forks marked for Mitchell & Tyler of Richmond, Virginia (in rectangles, working 1845-1866, with additional marks for Gale & Hughes of New York), with worn monograms. Combined weight: 10.62 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minor wear and scratching. Scattered tiny dents to spoon bowls.
