Pair of English Neoclassical style convertible sterling candleabra, marks for Gibson & Co Ltd., Sheffield, and date marks for 1916. Each with stepped square base, fluted shaft, and a central flame finial atop removable five-light scrolling foliate branches, convertible to a single candlestick. Hallmarks on the base of the candleabra branches, bobeches, and the weighted bases. 24 3/4 in. H x 17 in. W. 83.12 weighable troy ounces (excluding the weighted bases).
PROVENANCE: The estate (Irrevocable Trust) of Waltraut H. Mizell, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Both are in overall good condition. One candleabra branch has a broken bobeche that is retained.
