Three-piece English Victorian sterling silver tea service consisting of a teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl, each piece of oval form having gadrooned rims, ribbed bodies, and a raised plain foot. Teapot fitted with ebonized wood finial and handle. Hallmarks for Thomas Lamborn, Sheffield, and date marks for 1894. Ranging in size from 3 3/4 in. H x 5 1/4 in. W to 5 3/4 in. H x 11 1/4 in. W. 38.63 total gross troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Ian M. Mathison, Murfreesboro TN and Big Rapids, MI.
CONDITION: All pieces are in very good condition.
