American school oil on canvas painting depicting two English Pointer hunting dogs tethered to a tree, in an Autumn landscape setting. Unsigned. Giltwood frame. Sight – 23 5/8” H x 19 ½” W. Framed – 26 7/8” H x 23” W. Late 19th/Early 20th century. CONDITION: Repairs to canvas including the top left corner, between the legs of the dog to the left, and a backwards C shaped area in the top right of the painting. Overall light craquelure. Scattered losses to frame. Please refer to blacklight photo.
