1st item: Reed & Barton Art Nouveau sterling silver handled serving tray or basket in the form of four conjoined lily pads, fixed handle having applied leaves, on four ball feet. Base stamped with maker's marks, STERLING and 100/2. Three letter block style monogram to the handle. 6 3/4" H x 9 3/8" W x 12 3/8" L. 21.235 troy ounces. 2nd-5th items: Four (4) assembled sterling silver flatware pieces including: an English Sterling soup ladle, marks for Reid & Sons, working in Newcastle, mid-19th century, armorial engraving to the handle; Towle Old Master pattern sterling silver serving spoon and cold meat fork; and a seafood knife stamped with English hallmarks and having a blade marked sterling. Ranging in size from 8 1/4" L to 12 7/8" L. 12.420 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Dr. & Mrs. John H Cheek, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: All with light scratching/wear. Basket with spots of persistent surface staining.
