American, late 19th century. Note: a very similar Fiske fountain was installed in 1904 by the National Woman’s Christian Temperance Union in Harrisonburg, Virginia; recently vandalized, it is now being restored. Provenance – Lexington, Kentucky area collection. Condition: Old exfoliation of paint, some light abrasions, newer fountain spouts have been added. .
