Octavo, 344 pages with photographic illustrations, hardbound in brown cloth with gilt stamped front cover and spine, marbled endpapers. Includes original price clipped dust jacket. Signed by Nathan Harsh to the title page. 11 1/4" H x 8 3/4" W x 1" D. 2nd item: BIRTH OF THE GRAND OLE OPRY, written and printed by Don Cummings, United States, 1964. Softcover octavo, 26 pages detailing the early history of the Grand Ole Opry circa 1925-27, off white stapled cardstock wrappers with black text to front cover. 8 3/8" H x 5 1/2" W x 1/8" D. Rare.
CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition. 1st item: Dust jacket with creases, tears, largest 2", with areas of scotch tape repair to interior, price clipped. Covers in overall very good condition with light shelf wear, corners slightly bumped. Pages in overall very good condition with light toning, primarily to edges. Harsh signature in overall very good, legible condition. 2nd item: Covers with toning, areas of damp staining, largest 1 1/4" x 1/2", creasing to corners. Pages in overall good, legible condition with areas of acid burn to pages 4 and 5.
