Meissen porcelain centerpiece, the oval pierced basket encrusted with applied flowers, the pedestal naturalistically modeled and adorned with several Bacchanalian putti figures (including one with wreath, holding a goblet). 17-1/4"H x 15-1/2"W x 11"D. Circa 1953. Provenance: the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Overall very good condition. 1 cherub has a chipped foot (loss to top of foot, affecting all toes); small loss to tips of a few leaves. Some spots of light wear to gilt.
