Grouping of 3 Tennessee celts including 2 flint celts and 1 limestone spatulate celt. 1st item – Dover flint celt, Tennessee. Attached label, "S-8 Dover Flint Celt" with additional catagory labels. 8" length x 2 1/2" width. 2nd item -Dover flint celt, Tennesseee. 5 7/8" length x 1 1/4" width. 3rd item – Limestone spatulate celt, Roane County, TN. Catagory/Inventory number in red ink (possibly Museum inventory #). 5 1/2" length x 4 1/2" width. Property of an East Tennessee Educational Institution. Condition: 1st item – roughness to one end of flint with lighter brown surface exposed. 2nd item – overall very good condition. 3rd item – old wear to edges, couple of tight hairlines separations, possibly only at surface.
